The consultation process on proposals which include the closure of Stroud Maternity Hospital started today, 12th June, and ends on Monday 4th September 2006.

The proposals involved cover much more than the closure of Stroud Maternity - they also cover the ending of in-patient surgery at Stroud General and the closure of Berkeley hospital, for example. We would urge everyone to read the full proposal document, which can be found by clicking the image above.
As well as responding to the document, there are two public sessions organised for Thursday 29th June in the Subscription Rooms in Stroud. They are at 2pm and 6pm, with drop-ins for informal discussion available from 1pm and 5pm respectively.
Details on how you can respond to the proposals can be found on the What You Can Do page.
