Campaigners from across Gloucestershire boarded a specially chartered train to London (very kindly organised by the Forest of Dean's Save Our Services campaign) on Tuesday 18th July to take their message to parliament. Severe delays on the rail network meant that campaigners didn't reach Westminster until ten to four in the afternoon, yet the trip was a great success allowing our voice to be heard loud and clear at the very seat of power.
David Drew, Stroud's MP, had organised a meeting to allow various MPs and health professionals to field questions from Stroud's campaigners. Due to the timing, he was left to fend questions himself, but promised to keep the pressure up!
