Ring around the Unit - 17th July

Stroud Maternity Unit was circled by a ring of campaigners joined hand to hand on Monday 17th July.  This short demonstration was designed to show just how much support there is in the community for our maternity hospital.  We planned to place a ring of supporters around Weavers Croft too, but were denied permission by the Gloucestershire Partnership NHS Trust in case patients were disturbed.  Never mind how disturbed they will be if they are moved to Cheltenham!
